Dieffenbachia tropic snow
Dumb Cane, comes from the strange effects of her sap, which can cause temporary loss of speech if ingested. Yikes. It's all good though -- unless you're drinking her through a straw, she's totally safe to have around and can add an incredible pop of colour to your space.
Native to the tropics of Central and South America, Dana has long been brightening up homes on this side of the pond with her stunning white-and-green patterned leaves. She also works hard as an air purifier, mopping up all the nasties in the air so you can breathe easy.
